Memory tip for 7th of May 2011

Today I want to mention how important continual studies are in your memory development. This would mean that you could consider going back to university or other educational institution to expand your knowledge in one field or another. Your brains and also your memory suffers a lot if you only have some knowledge and experience in one field and do not try to develop yourself in another. If you want to improve your memory with age and not to lose it, you have to change your approach to studies. You need to continue your studies if you want to advance in your brain activities.

Taking formal education is a good thing and I would advise you to do that if you haven’t had it yet, or you feel that you lack knowledge in the field you want to advance in. If you do not have time for that at the moment, do not be upset. By practicing mnemonic techniques that I describe in the blog you can study absolutely any subject you want and become a specialist in the field. Of course, some subjects and professions, such as a surgeon or an army office will force you to take official academic education, but many other subjects can be studied at the privacy of your home. However, if you feel that you will waste a lot of time by searching for appropriate information on any given field, you should find a reliable university and start studying. So, go and continue your studies to make your memory more powerful.
