Memory tip for 8th of April 2011

Yesterday I shared how important it is to teach somebody the material you want to remember yourself. Today I want to give you a tip for improving your memory which could be put in the following words: involve your senses to remember things better. Here your imagination plays a key role as it can involve all of your five senses in the process of remembering. You may not need to smell, taste, touch, hear or see something in reality. You can do that in your mind by allowing your fantasy to play with your senses.

If you have not noticed it yet, I can tell you that you can imagine yourself doing all of those things in your mind and this will improve your ability to memorize things tremendously. For example if you want to remember a few things that you need to purchase in a shop, you might imagine the color of them, how they smell, you might try to touch them in your mind, taste them and etc. All of the senses are controlled by your brains, so use your brains that would allow your imagination to experience all of those things in your mind. I hope you see now how you can use your five senses for improving your memory.
