Memory tip for 5th of May 2011

Today I want to give you this tip to improve your memory: take up new hobbies and interests to develop your brain activities. Taking up new activities starts stimulating other parts of the brains which you have neglected. If you only do one specific activity for a long time and do not change it, you get dumber. Statistics show that after the age of twenty three our IQ starts going down. At that time most of us graduate from universities and no longer study a variety of subjects.

We start doing one particular job which we are best qualified for. This maybe good for us to be developed in one field, but will make us much poor as personalities. Therefore, I would encourage you to read a lot on a variety of topics, take interest in a number of hobbies, travel, go in for sports and do other activities that would expand your intellect. Don’t be single sided developed. Try to develop as many parts of your brain as you can. This will also boost your memory.
