Memory tip for 4th of May 2011

Today my memory tip is connected with what you should do to protect your brains from a few things that my damage your ability to remember. The first one is: quit smoking to protect your memory abilities. Why is it so important? Smoking has a lot of various negative consequences for your health as well as for your memory. If you smoke you may develop some chronic lung disease that will limit amount of oxygen to get to your brains. This means your brain will not function as it should and this will cause multiple instances of memory loss.

The second tip is: try to protect your head from injuries at all cost. This advice might sound stupid, but it is not. Your head protects your brain. People who have ever injured their heads have also injured their brains and statistics shows that they tend to have problems with their memories later in life. Some of them experience very serious problems such as amnesia or repetitive memory loss. So, whatever you do: play football, go diving, drive your bicycle or playing other dangerous games, be sure to protect your head. Better safe than sorry.
