Memory tip for 13th of April 2011

Yesterday I talked about importance of focusing your attention in order to remember information you are studying better. Today I want to give you somewhat unusual tip for training your memory and it is: drink coffee to increase your short term memory. Although it may sound strange but scientists have proved that small doses of caffeine can increase capacity of your short term memory. You must have noticed yourself how caffeine stimulates your brain. As a consequence it can also give a boost to your memory. Stimulation of brains is one of the reasons why surgeons and other people in medical profession drink coffee every morning.

It is also true about any other profession. I also drink a cup of coffee after breakfast and find both the process and the results of it very enjoyable. As anything else in life this tip should be used with caution for large doses of caffeine can make you pretty nervous and aggressive. So, use your common sense while following this tip. If you do not like coffee, chewing gum is said to have a similar effect on your brains and memory. So, choose one of these as a means to improve your memory functioning.
